OEMFCI is a youth organisation based in France, led by young people who design, run and evaluate local and international youth projects. We open the door to fully funded Erasmus+ training courses, youth exchanges and traineeships abroad, so that everyone living in France — citizens and non-citizens alike, whatever their status — has the chance to live an intercultural experience.

Training courses and youth exchanges hosted by our sister organisation EMOTiC in Vienna, Austria. Participation is free of charge: accommodation, meals and the programme are covered by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, and travel is reimbursed up to a ceiling. OEMFCI sends the group from France. Open to everyone living in France — citizens and non-citizens alike, regardless of nationality or residence status.

Erasmus+ Traineeships

A student? Do your Erasmus+ traineeship in Austria or Croatia

If you are an active student at a university that takes part in Erasmus+, your university can fund a traineeship abroad for 2 to 12 months. OEMFCI supports you to go to Vienna, Austria, or to Croatia, where our sister organisations host you as their trainee in European youth projects, non-formal education and international cooperation.

We match you with a host organisation and a mentor
We help you prepare and sign the Learning Agreement for Traineeships with your university
Real responsibility in Erasmus+ projects, labs, trainings and youth exchanges from day one
A certificate and a recommendation letter at the end
The Erasmus+ grant comes from your university — the host organisations provide the traineeship, not funding

Host: EMOTiC – European Multidisciplinary Organization for Training and international Consulting. Office at Rauhensteingasse 7/18, 1010 Vienna. At least 32 hours a week, English B1+.

Who we are

Led by young people, for and with young people

OEMFCI is a youth organisation based in France, founded in 2022 and led by young enthusiasts who are the core power of designing, implementing and evaluating local and international youth projects. Our team has accumulated experience in organising more than 30 international projects and creating more than 12 educational concepts and training resources.

Our work provides educational opportunities and programmes that bring together diverse communities and groups from across Europe and beyond to share their experiences and views, while developing lifelong transversal personal and professional competences.

We believe in the power and values of interculturality in shaping communities. Everyone has the right to live an intercultural experience, and therefore everyone must be given the opportunity and support to live one. We do this through international projects, volunteering and short-term stays that mobilise youth in France and beyond.

Our approach

How we work

Every project follows the same path, from a careful needs analysis to follow-up actions that feed the next initiative.

Identifying challenges

Our projects and initiatives undertake careful reciprocal needs analysis through participatory methods with impacted groups and societies.

Research & analysis

Formal research, from desk-based work to focus groups and case studies, informs all stages of our project lifecycle.

Direct outreach

Peer-to-peer learning is a key methodology used during activities to work with target groups directly through active involvement.

Monitoring & controlling

All our projects are internally audited in line with French and European standards and in full compliance with ethics and values.

Follow-up & impact

Project results serve as building blocks for further action and are fully integrated into the design of new projects and initiatives.

Learning by doing

Non-formal education

Project implementation takes place through diverse methods such as training courses, seminars, workshops, study visits, exchanges, volunteer services, focus groups, conferences and forums, with local, regional, national, European and international partners.

We encourage a peer-to-peer learning environment that transcends national borders and social backgrounds, and work towards a shared identity as engaged citizens of Europe and the world.
